White Deer Run sits on the historic Cuneo Estate, 240 acres of rolling hills, mature trees, and open sky in Vernon Hills. The outdoor ceremony setting looks out over Lake Charles, with chairs set on the grounds and the water and tree line as a natural backdrop. It is the kind of setting that needs very little added to it.

Beautiful Spaces for Every Celebration

The Four Seasons Room is the heart of the day. Newly renovated in a modern-rustic style, the room features floor-to-ceiling windows that frame the golf course and Lake Charles beyond. For weddings of up to 96 guests, the Four Seasons Room handles the full day on its own. For larger celebrations, the entire clubhouse is utilized to accommodate up to 195 guests. Either way, the space is yours since White Deer Run hosts only one wedding per day.

Every wedding at White Deer Run includes a dedicated coordinator on-site from setup through last dance. Mariah Christiansen and Isabella Ibarra work with couples through every stage of planning and are there the day of to make sure everything runs the way it was planned. Every wedding includes:

Do you host more than one wedding per day?

We only host one wedding per day.

How do we check availability and pricing?

Can we schedule a tour, and are virtual tours available?

We can schedule a tour for you to check out the space. Please call us at 847-680-6100 to make an appointment.

When is the final balance due and what is the payment process?

We require a non-refundable deposit to secure the date. 25% of the final balance is due 60 days prior to the event. The final payment is due 7 days prior to the event date. Payments can be made online by credit card through a secure link, or in person with a cashier’s check.

Do you require a deposit to secure my date?

A $350 non-refundable deposit is required to secure your event date.

What is your cancellation and refund policy?

If the event needs to be cancelled, the $350 deposit is non-refundable.

Will a dedicated event manager or coordinator be on-site the day of the wedding?

Yes. A dedicated event manager or coordinator will be on-site to oversee the event from start to finish.

Can we also host our rehearsal dinner, bridal shower, or other celebrations at your venue?

Yes. We would love to help you host your wedding shower, rehearsal dinner, or other related celebrations.

Do couples have to be a member to host a wedding? Are there member sponsorship requirements or discounts?

White Deer Run Golf Club is fully public. You do not need to be a member to host an event at our venue.

Capacity & Spaces

What is your maximum guest capacity?

Our maximum guest capacity is 100 guests from March through October. From November through March, our maximum guest capacity is 195.

Do you have indoor and outdoor ceremony options?

Yes. We can host outdoor ceremonies on our grounds overlooking Lake Charles, and indoor ceremonies in our Four Seasons event space.

Do you provide private spaces for the wedding party to get ready?

Yes. We have private spaces for the couple to get ready and store their personal items on the day of the wedding.

Packages & Requirements

Are there venue rental or facility fees (separate from food and beverage)?

The room rental fee for the Four Seasons Room is $500. Full clubhouse rental is $1,500. Fees are separate from food and beverage costs.

Catering & Bar Service

Do you provide full catering and bar service?

Yes. We provide full in-house catering and bar service for your event.

Are outside caterers or outside alcohol allowed?

We can work with couples to accommodate cultural and religious food traditions. Please reach out for specific details. Outside alcohol is not permitted.

Can liquor be removed from the wedding package?

Yes. We can host fully dry weddings and create custom non-alcoholic mocktails for your event.

Can menus be customized for dietary restrictions or preferences?

Yes. Menus can be customized to fit dietary restrictions or preferences. Please note our facility is not completely gluten, dairy, or nut free, so cross contamination may occur.

Can we offer specialty cocktails or champagne toasts?

Yes. We are happy to create custom cocktails or arrange a champagne toast for your event.

Vendors & Decor

Are outside vendors (florists, photographers, DJs) permitted?

Yes. We love working with new vendors and have a list of preferred vendors who know our space well. You are welcome to bring in vendors outside our preferred list.

Timeline & Logistics

What is your policy for inclement weather or weather-related changes?

One week prior to the event we will contact you to discuss any weather-related changes. Since we only host one wedding per day, the ceremony can always be moved inside to our Four Seasons event space if needed.

What is the backup plan for outdoor ceremonies in case of bad weather?

The ceremony will be held inside our Four Seasons event space. It makes a beautiful indoor ceremony setting.

How long do we have access to the venue on our wedding day?

You will have access to the space three hours prior to your event start time.

Are there options to extend the event time?

Yes. If you would like to extend your event time, please let us know at least 7 days prior to the event. Additional fees may apply depending on the amount of time added. Event time cannot be extended the day of the event.

Guest Experience & Accessibility

Is on-site parking available, and is valet offered?

On-site parking is available for all guests. Valet service is not offered.

Are your facilities accessible to guests with disabilities?

Yes. The entrance and building are wheelchair accessible.

Extras & Add-Ons

Do you provide furniture, linens, tableware, and centerpieces?

Yes. We provide tables and chairs, white linens, and full tableware including china, glassware, and flatware. Round mirrors with gold votive candles are included as standard centerpieces.

Are there additional chair or décor options available?

Yes. Chiavari chairs, X-back chairs, and satin chair covers with ties are available for rent. You can also rent ceremony arches, specialty colored linens, napkins, table runners, and additional décor through us and our vendor partners.

Do you have audio and AV capabilities for music and microphones?

We have a wireless microphone available for speeches. Additional audio and visual equipment is available for rent through our vendor partners.

What additional enhancements can be added to a wedding?

Additional enhancements include extended hours, specialty signature cocktails, custom desserts, and late night snacks. Ask us about our full list of add-ons including experiential drink bars, photo booths, custom signage, florals, and more.
